Ways to Fight Stress

Looking at the current financially crisis, more and more people are becoming unemployed. Trying to find a new job isn't as easy and straight forward as it was once. Literally hundreds of people apply for the same job that could only accommodate a handful. If they are lucky to have one,they have do more work, for the same, or even less pay. This only means that there are a lot of overworked people suffering from stress. The sad part about it is that they don't even know they have the signs, or don't want to acknowledge it and help themselves.

Unfortunately, this article could not help you get job but rather help you minimize the effect during this dire times. Re energizing your dead batteries could help you in way in fighting stress. Making adjustment to your lifestyle can create a natural defense against physical and mental stress. The ways mentioned below could help you improve your mood and ability to cope with day to day annoyance.

Here are some of the ways to fight stress:

1. Eat properly, eat healthy
- You might probably noticed that you fell most stressed when you are hungry. A person who never eat breakfast or rare eat lunch are more easily to fall into the rectified trap called stress. Healthy and nutritious meals is one of your weapons against your battle with stress. Make sure to eat high-protein foods, such as meat, cheese, eggs and whole-grain breads with each meal. Munch on fruit when you need a snack. Avoid too much caffeine.

2. Get enough sleep
- Symptoms of stress shows when your feeling tired and not having enough sleep which in turn results to chronic aggravation. Going to bed at a proper time can increases your chance of getting a stressful day on the following morning, it could also help you focus on things.

3. Exercise
- This doesn't always mean that you'll have to enroll yourself in a fitness program. Taking a dog for a walk, admiring the view while strolling in the park or even playing with your children will do. Exercise gets your blood flowing and make you fell much better.

4. Getting a fresh air
- Get yourself a break, you deserve it! Find as much time as possible to look and appreciate new scenery, this would be a welcome change to the 4 corner space you always occupy. Just standing outside during breaks can help you reduce stress levels. Going for a walk during lunchtime also helps. Get rid of that stessful day at work by enjoying the view at a park before going home.

5. Manage your time
- Needless to say, this is one major contributing factor why you feel stressed. Managing your time will not only help you do your work more efficiently but it could also give a better understanding of where you spend your time. This will result to a greater control of your schedule which will in turn result in less stress.

6. Meditate
- Personally I find this technique efficient, any form of meditation will do. You will be surprise to know how meditation can help you relax your body and mind, a real natural healer. Believe it or not, you can meditate anywhere whether it's in a quite room or on the way home, sitting, walking or lying down. Just try to close your eyes or focus on to something and let your mind forget your daily hassles, focus on pleasant things.
